Oktava ML52a Ribbon Microphone
Russian double-ribbon microphone, tested, serviced and in good working order.
A little bit of Soviet eccentricity here. The two parallel ribbons are designed to reduce noise, much like a humbucker guitar pickup. Style is one part Sputnik, and two parts Darth Vader.
