Reslo VMC dynamic microphone

This is an unusual bronze coloured Reslo VMC dynamic mic.

I haven’t seen a bronze VMC before, but the finish looks like that seen on the Reslo SR1 microphones, so I am sure that it is a factory finish rather than a refinish.

The VMC mics are a very early (1930s?) moving coil design with a large paper diaphragm. They are rather ‘vintage’ or lo-fi in tone, so ideal for an effects or prop mic. It has been cleaned inside, wired for XLR and tested and working.

Output impedance is approximately 15 ohms.
