Privacy Policy and Cookies

Xaudia is a very small company and we repair microphones. We don’t have web developers or IT specialists. In fact the guy who fixes your microphones also updates the website, takes out the rubbish, makes the coffee and sweeps the floor. You get the picture!

UK law requires that we tell you about cookies and give you the ability to opt out, so here it is.

This website was created in iWeb, which does not use cookies to collect visitor information. We are not doing anything evil, and no personal data is stored on or via the website. However, there are a couple of third party bits of code that are on the site which do use cookies.

Like many other websites, we use Google Analytics to monitor website statistics. These tell us about our visitors’ country, browser and how many pages they have looked at. This helps us to understand who our visitors are and how to serve them better. There is a bit more about their use of cookies here. The blog is hosted by blogger, which is also a Google product.

The contact form is hosted by jotform, which does not use cookies.

If you wish to restrict or block the cookies, you can do this through your browser settings, and it won’t affect how the Xaudia website looks. Here is some further information from aboutcookies.org, who (ironically) also use cookies on their site!

If you send us a mic for repair then of course we keep your details on file so that we can send it back to you. We won’t share this information with anybody at all, but I might send you the odd email or blog update about microphone-related things that we think you might enjoy.
