Beyer M320 Cardioid ribbon microphone
This is a Beyer M320 cardioid ribbon microphone.
It has been cleaned, serviced and fitted with a new ribbon and a full range low noise transformer from Extinct Audio. As you might expect, the transformer lowers the noise floor and improves the bass response. If you wish, I will include the original Beyer transformer in the sale.
The front windscreen has been re-lined inside to remove the crud of ages, and a crack in the plastic has been neatly repaired. And the switch has been bypassed for reliability.
If you are looking for a museum piece then this isn’t one. But if you want a great sounding, unusual cardioid ribbon, then this fits the bill.
Standard DIN plug output and the mounting thread is standard 5/8″. I will include an adapter cable and a thread adapter to 3/8″ if needed.
