A rare Toshiba B bi-directional ribbon.
This is one of the very best Japanese figure-8 ribbon microphones.
The ribbon motor assembly is a smaller version of an RCA 44BX, with strong magnets above and below the ribbon.
The microphone has a 5 position high-pass filter switch on the base of the microphone, so that the engineer can compensate for proximity effect when recording close to the sound source.
Transformer balanced, 600 ohms output. This mic has been serviced and the original factory ribbon is still in good order. Standard XLR output socket.
