EMI PM245 Ribbon microphone

Vintage EMI PM245 bi-directional ribbon microphone.

This has been fitted with new ribbon and cable wired to XLR output, and a replacement 300 ohms transformer.

This comes with EMI branded original dust shield and thread adapter for modern mic stands.

These mics usually have a 15 ohm output which is a very low output voltage designed for 1930s equipment. I have changed the transform to give a good output into modern equipment, and will also include the original transformer for you to use as a paperweight.
