Melodium 42B replacement magnet assemblies

Replacement neodymium magnet set for Melodium 42B ribbon mics. These give approximately 6000 gauss magnetic field across the ribbon frame,.

Most of the U-magnets found in older 42Bs keep their field well unless they are dropped or cracked. The later alnico block magnets sometimes go bad without obvious cause.

These replace faded magnets which have lost their field. It is not a simple DIY job and these are intended as repair parts for experienced technicans. Or better still we can fit them for you. There are lots of reasons for low output on a 42B so please email for advice.

The kit includes 4 x very strong neodymium block magnets and 2 x nickel plated magnetic steel cross bars. (Ribbon assembly is not included).
