Tannoy MD422 Cardioid ribbon

Cardioid ribbon microphone from Tannoy. This is 1940s technology and has an obviously vintage tone.

Serviced with new ribbon and grill screens, and fitted with an XLR socket.
This is available either with the original tannoy transformer at an output impedance of 600 ohms, or can be fitted with a suitable low noise Xaudia / Extinct Audio upgrade transformer for 300 ohm use. Please ask.
