Aiwa VM-13 Ribbon microphoneone

Here we have a small ribbon microphone from Aiwa in nice working condition. This model was produced in Japan from the late 1950s through into the 1960s. The VM-13 was designed to offer a reasonable price without sacrificing performance, while also being stylish, for broadcasters and radio stations.

This is the more useful 600 ohm model which means that it will work nicely with modern preamps.

Supplied with a suitable thread adapter for modern mic stands.

Sound clips – speech (me!)

And nylon string guitar (also me)
