Sony Sony ECM 56a Electret Condenser Microphone
Very nice sounding ECM from Sony. We can be a bit snobbish about electret mics but this has a rugged professional build quality, similar to the C48 era, and delivers on the sound with a very flat mid range and a little top end lift. The V position on the switch gently cuts a little bit of bass (-3dB at 100 Hz.)
It can run on a 9V battery or on phantom power.
Tested and working.
Supplied with a thread adapter for modern mic stands.
